In September of 2023, nine scouts from Troop 883 made a day trip to the Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, Virginia. The day had plenty of rain from a tropical storm, and the museum was a good way to spend the day. At the museum, the scouts saw many different aircraft and spacecraft including helicopters, a spaceship, jets, and a variety of planes. One scout stated, “German scientists made hover pads during World War II, which was very interesting.” The boys had a very fun time learning about the many aircraft and spaceships that were found inside the museum.
