In November, some scouts from troop 883 ventured out to Gettysburg, PA. The scouts went on a 12 mile hike, climbing two fire watch towers as they hiked. There was also an illumination event where candles were lit inside bags. One scout noted, “It was cool to see all the candles lit, and to pay respects to the 3,000 fallen soldiers.” The event took place in the Gettysburg National Cemetery.
